Ex-Google DeepMind Researchers Raise $3.7M for Fusion Reactor Controls

Fusionality, a Lausanne startup founded in 2026 by former Google DeepMind researchers Federico Felici and Jonas Buchli, raised a $3.7 million pre-seed from Founderful and Playfair. The company will build control systems and simulations for magnetic confinement fusion reactors. Felici said no vendor currently offers components that "speak the language of fusion."
