ASA upholds complaint against National's KiwiSaver tax claim

The Advertising Standards Authority partly upheld a complaint against a National Party flyer claiming Labour's capital gains tax would "hit" KiwiSaver. The ASA found the claim breached truthfulness rules because most readers would assume KiwiSaver funds would be directly taxed. Labour says KiwiSaver is exempt. National was told not to reuse the flyer as is.
