Mathematicians Say OpenAI Used Their Unpublished Codex Input in Navier-Stokes Claim

Buckmaster and Alpöge entered Navier-Stokes draft work into OpenAI's Codex tool. OpenAI later announced a solution using 10,000 AI agents. Buckmaster asked whether the model accessed or trained on those sessions. OpenAI said it does not look up user data but did not answer on training. It offered him two credit arrangements; he declined both. The Clay Mathematics Institute has not confirmed the solution meets its criteria.
