Microsoft to Disclose Azure Revenue in Absolute Dollars for the First Time

Microsoft will report quarterly Azure revenue in dollar terms starting with its Q1 FY2027 earnings call in late October — a first for the cloud business. Azure trails AWS, $85.8 billion versus $128.7 billion for calendar 2025. The new figures will also use a narrower Azure definition, excluding GitHub cloud, Security Copilot, and Healthcare and Life Sciences cloud.
