AI dominates longlist for 26th getAbstract International Book Award

The longlist for the 26th getAbstract International Book Award — among the world's oldest non-fiction prizes, running since 2001 — was revealed on 31 August 2026. Five of the 19 nominated titles across the German and International 'Business Impact' categories address artificial intelligence directly. Laura Lesum, Rights Director at the Switzerland-based book-summary company, announced the list. Winners follow on 8 October at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
