Passenger jets flew 41 feet above Cape Town Stadium roof before Springboks–All Blacks Test
Two Airlink Embraer passenger jets flew an estimated 41–46 feet above Cape Town Stadium's roof before South Africa's Rugby Championship Test against New Zealand, with 56,000 spectators inside. Flightradar24 provided the altitude figure. Airlink, a Springboks sponsor, said the jets carried only senior captains and had civil aviation authority approval. Aviation experts warned the aircraft were not designed for such low-level flying.
