Universal dates Snoop Dogg biopic for 6 August 2027

Universal has dated the Snoop Dogg biopic "Snoop" for theatrical release on 6 August 2027, Variety reported on 25 August 2026. Craig Brewer directs from his rewrite of Joe Robert Cole's script. Jonathan Daviss plays Snoop; Camron Jones plays Tupac Shakur; Myles Bullock plays Dr. Dre; Lauren London plays Snoop's late mother, Beverly Tate. The film is the first project under Death Row Pictures' first-look deal with NBCUniversal. Snoop Dogg produces with Brian Grazer and Allan Mandelbaum.
