Signal Developers Open-Source Architecture for Encrypted Collaboration

Former Signal protocol developers released Encrypted Spaces on 12 June, an open-source architecture that keeps shared workspace data encrypted end-to-end while verifying every operation cryptographically. The system eliminates dependence on a trusted central server by embedding verification into the application layer itself. Microsoft Research and Harvard contributed to the work, with the whitepaper published 11 June.
