Snapchat Opens Publishing to Older Teens

Snapchat has extended public publishing to users aged 16 and 17, allowing them to post to public Stories and submit videos to Spotlight, the platform's algorithm-driven feed. Younger teens, aged 13–15, remain restricted to private sharing. The shift maintains existing safety controls, including Family Center, which lets parents monitor activity.
