Brighton sign Promise David on loan with £22m obligation to buy

Brighton have signed Canada striker Promise David from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy for a reported £22m. David, 25, scored 41 goals in 82 games for the Belgian side and netted in Canada's World Cup group-stage defeat to Switzerland. Sporting director Mike Cave called him "an out-and-out striker who possesses outstanding physical attributes and a track record of scoring goals."
