Sudanese Army Turns Tide in West Darfur, Killing RSF Sector Commander

Sudan's army and allied former rebels repelled two RSF attacks on Bir Saliba, the paramilitary's last West Darfur stronghold, 30km north of el-Geneina. Forces destroyed 38-plus combat vehicles, seized 27, and killed the RSF sector commander. Thousands fled renewed fighting near el-Geneina.
