Sudan's Army Wins Major Battle, Pushes Back Rebel Fighters in Darfur

Sudan's army and allied fighters beat back two attacks by the RSF, a rival armed group, on its last stronghold in West Darfur. The army destroyed over 38 vehicles, captured 27, and killed a top RSF commander. Thousands of civilians fled the fighting. A local leader says the RSF is now retreating instead of attacking.
