ACT wants students to choose what they pay for at university

ACT's Parmjeet Parmar says the party will campaign on letting students opt out of the Student Services Fee. Instead of paying one compulsory charge, students would pick and pay for only the services they use — like orientation, clubs, media, health and sports. ACT says students could save up to $4,000 on their student loan across a full degree.
