ACT to campaign on making Student Services Fee voluntary

ACT Party tertiary education spokesperson Parmjeet Parmar says the party will campaign on making the compulsory Student Services Fee voluntary. Under the proposal, universities would offer services as a menu and students would pay only for what they use. ACT estimates students could save up to $4,000 on their student loan over a full degree. The fee currently funds orientation, clubs, media, health and sports services.
