Iraq's Kurdistan Region Says It Was Attacked Over 1,000 Times While Staying Neutral in Iran War

Since the US-Israeli war on Iran started February 28, 2026, Iraq's Kurdistan Region has faced over 1,000 missile and drone attacks, PM Masrour Barzani told Al Jazeera. He said no one pressured the Kurdish region to join the fighting and that it wants no part in any regional war.
