Tesla and SpaceX Plan a Giant Chip Factory in Texas

Tesla and SpaceX will jointly build a massive factory in Texas to manufacture computer chips. The initial investment is $16.8 billion, though total spending could eventually reach $119 billion. Intel has signed on as a contributor. Musk called it "the largest and most valuable building on Earth." At least 3,000 jobs are planned.
