Government releases first national mental health plan

Mental Health Minister Matt Doocey has released New Zealand's first mental health strategy at Parliament. The plan sits under the Pae Ora Act, the law that runs the health system. Doocey called it a "huge mistake" that mental health was left out before. The plan has 50 actions over three years, aiming for faster help, more staff and better crisis care.
