Carney says Canada will push back harder on U.S. if no trade deal by Aug. 19

Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada will get tougher with the United States if the two countries can't agree on a trade deal before new U.S. taxes on Canadian goods take effect Aug. 19. He gave no details, saying only that Canada "has options," and ruled out cutting off energy exports as a bargaining chip.
