Government Drops All Major January 6 Riot Convictions

The Trump Justice Department asked courts to throw out every major January 6 riot conviction, and judges agreed. Nine Oath Keepers, including founder Stewart Rhodes, were cleared August 4; 13 Proud Boys were cleared July 13. All had already been pardoned by Trump. Judge Amit Mehta said dropping the cases "diminishes the gravity of January 6."
