Microsoft Executive Gets Classic Game Doom Running Inside MS Paint

Mark Russinovich, a top engineer at Microsoft, got the classic 1993 game Doom running inside Microsoft Paint. The program draws each game frame and pastes it into Paint's window up to 35 times per second — fast enough for smooth motion. Sound and music are included. He shared the full code and a planning document on GitHub for anyone to download.
