Welsh man sent to prison for keeping mother's body in freezer and taking her benefits

Christopher Phillips, 60, from Porthcawl, south Wales, was sentenced to two years and four months in prison. He admitted hiding his mother Sylvia's death and keeping her body in a home freezer for nearly three years while claiming her government benefit payments for himself, South Wales Police said.
