Two Republican Senators Agree to Support Trump's Pick for Attorney General

Two Republican senators, Thom Tillis of North Carolina and John Cornyn of Texas, said they will vote for Todd Blanche as attorney general after he promised in writing to drop President Trump's nearly $1.8 billion fund. The fund was meant to fight what Trump sees as unfair use of government power. Blanche canceled it Sunday, NPR and CBS News reported Aug. 3.
