Apple Fights Second UK Order to Access Locked iCloud Data

Apple has filed a complaint against a second UK government order from October 2025 demanding access to its scrambled, unreadable iCloud data, the Financial Times first reported. The UK dropped an earlier demand in August 2025 after pressure from the US. UK users lost Apple's strongest iCloud privacy feature in February 2025.
