Court Clears Top Wrestling Official of Harassment Charges

A New Delhi court cleared former wrestling chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on 3 August 2026 of sexual harassment charges from five women wrestlers. The judge cited contradictions in witness accounts. Singh, a former lawmaker, denied all claims. His aide Vinod Tomar was also cleared. Cleared means found not guilty. The wrestlers plan to challenge the ruling.
