Two Men Hurt When Sydney Building Site Collapses

A building being built on Wattle Street, Ultimo, Sydney, collapsed around 11am on 3 August 2026. Two men — one in his 30s, one in his 60s — were trapped in the rubble. Both were pulled out and taken to hospital in serious condition, per Ambulance NSW. Five others were checked and released. Police cleared the site and special rescue teams helped. The cause is still unknown.
