Two Men Seriously Injured in Ultimo Construction Collapse

A building under construction on Wattle Street, Ultimo, Sydney, collapsed around 11am on 3 August 2026, trapping two men aged in their 30s and 60s. Both were pulled from debris and hospitalised in serious condition, per Ambulance NSW. Five others were assessed and released. Police evacuated the site; urban search and rescue units attended. The cause remains unknown.
