NZ trains brain doctors it can't afford to hire

New Zealand trains five brain and nerve doctors a year but pays for only three public hospital jobs, so two leave overseas or go private, Rich Easton of the Neurological Alliance said. The group wants two more roles funded and a hiring plan. It has 68 of the 100 doctors the country needs.
