Mayor Urges UK to Keep Child Rapists in Prison Longer as Release Deadline Nears

Andy Burnham wants child rapists kept out of a plan letting prisoners leave early. The UK government has one day to decide who gets exempted before about 700 prisoners go free this autumn. Without early releases, prisons in England and Wales could be full by November, says Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
