National Gallery Accused of Unfair Treatment of Staff Based on Race

A workers' union says the National Gallery treats Black and Asian security staff unfairly — sending them to a windowless basement while white staff enjoy a nice canteen. UK equality law bans this kind of treatment. The union wrote to the gallery on 1 July 2026; as of 2 August, no reply.
