CodePen 2.0 Lets You Publish Websites Straight From the Editor

CodePen, a popular tool for writing and testing web code, launched version 2.0 on July 23, 2026. Users can now publish small websites directly from the editor, without moving their code elsewhere or paying for separate hosting. Co-founder Chris Coyier called it his biggest career accomplishment.
