Government agency says plug-in solar should be allowed again

A government agency has recommended making plug-in solar panels legal again in Aotearoa. They were banned 14 years ago over fire and electricity safety worries. Energy Minister Simeon Brown is writing safety rules that would need to be finished first. Minister for Regulation David Seymour said renters and apartment dwellers would benefit.
