Top public servants want law to protect vulnerable adults — but no MP will back it

Every government agency boss approached by the group Vulnerable Adults New Zealand agrees a law is needed to protect at-risk adults from abuse and neglect, board member Ailsa Claire says. No one has opposed the proposed law. But no MP has put their name to it, RNZ reports.
