FCC Security List Now Includes Robots and Power Equipment

On July 28, 2026, the FCC added foreign-made robots and power inverters to its Covered List — a set of products deemed a security risk, previously limited to phone and internet equipment. The list now covers physical machines and power infrastructure. DHS and DoD can still grant exemptions case by case.
