Proposed Law Would Let Officials Keep Self-Driving Cars Off Certain Streets During Emergencies
Rep. Kevin Mullin (D-Calif.) introduced the AV Emergency Response Coordination Act on July 28 in San Francisco. No government currently has this power under federal rules. NHTSA would set the standards.
