Midjourney buys astrology app Co-Star and hires its founder to build phone apps

Midjourney, known for AI image creation through its website and the chat app Discord, made its first-ever purchase on July 24, 2026: the popular astrology app Co-Star. Co-Star's founder, Banu Guler, will lead Midjourney's first phone apps, including one for making images. The price was not shared. Co-Star stays on its own.
