Downing Street opens a branch in Manchester

Downing Street says its new Manchester branch, called No 10 North, is already running. Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, will chair a government economy meeting there — the kind normally held in London. Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner is also expected to work from the site for the first time that day. The BBC reported the details.
