Universal Buys Movie Rights to Ten Classic Atari Video Games

Universal Pictures has bought the movie rights to ten classic Atari video games, including Asteroids, Pong, and Breakout. A script by writers Matt Reilly and Carl Hampe is already written, and producer Guymon Casady of Entertainment 360 is attached. Atari CEO Wade Rosen confirmed the deal to Deadline. No filming schedule has been announced.
