Samsung's new Galaxy Watch will get software updates for five years — two more than Google's own watch

Samsung will provide five years of software updates for the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, running through 2031. Google's Pixel Watch currently gets three years. The biggest maker of Wear OS smartwatches now outbids the company that owns the software on how long devices stay current.
