Samsung's Galaxy Watch 9 gets five years of Wear OS updates — two more than Google's own Pixel Watch

Samsung will provide five years of Wear OS updates for the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, starting with Wear OS 7 and running through 2031. The Google Pixel Watch currently ships with three years of Wear OS updates. The top Wear OS licensee now outbids the platform owner on update longevity by two years.
