Two British roles at King Harald's funeral: William as envoy, Anne as godparent

Prince William will represent King Charles III at King Harald of Norway's state funeral on September 9 at Oslo Cathedral. Princess Anne will attend the same service in a personal capacity: she stood as sponsor — the Norwegian term for godparent — at King Haakon VIII's baptism in 1973.
