Snap Switches Off Friend Finder for Under-18s in the UK

Snap is turning off Find Friends by default for UK users under 18. The feature suggests friends based on age, location and existing connections. Rollout starts this month. It is meant to meet obligations under the UK Online Safety Act. Ofcom, the regulator, can fine firms that break these rules up to £18 million or 10% of qualifying worldwide revenue.
