Snap to Make Find Friends Off by Default for UK Under-18s

Snap will set Find Friends to off by default for UK users under 18, with rollout starting this month. The change is intended to meet obligations under the UK Online Safety Act. The feature suggests friends using age, location and existing connections. Ofcom can fine non-compliant firms up to £18 million or 10% of qualifying worldwide revenue.
