1Password now lets Claude log in for you without seeing your passwords

On July 16, 2026, 1Password released a tool that lets the AI assistant Claude log into websites for you. Claude never sees your passwords or security codes — 1Password fills them in through a path the AI cannot view. Every action needs your fingerprint or face check first. It then scans the page for safety. Mac-only at launch.
