1Password's Claude integration injects credentials the AI agent cannot see
1Password launched "1Password for Claude" on July 16, 2026. The browser integration lets Claude authenticate on a user's behalf while a "zero-exposure security framework" injects credentials through a channel the model cannot inspect. Claude never sees plaintext passwords or MFA codes. Each access requires per-task biometric approval; 1Password then scans the page post-autofill before returning control. Mac-only at launch.
