Reviewer Wears Recording Gadget to Therapy Session

Verge senior reviewer Victoria Song wore Amazon's Bee Frontier, a $75 gadget that keeps recording nearby sound, to a therapy session. She asked her therapist for permission first. Song described the experience in her Optimizer newsletter, published November 4, 2026. It is built to pick up nearby speech, so people in the room get recorded without agreeing to it.
