ADP: Private Employers Added 86,000 Jobs in October

Companies outside government added 86,000 jobs in October, according to the ADP National Employment Report, published November 4, 2026. ADP's figure is a private estimate, not the government's official monthly jobs report, and it can be changed later. For comparison, ADP's first August estimate was 38,000. One month alone does not show a trend in hiring.
