ACT party still picking a new second-in-command before election

Brooke van Velden, ACT's second-in-command and local MP for Tāmaki, said in March she won't run again. ACT hasn't announced who will replace her before the 2026 election. The party said in June it would name someone at Rally 26, but the decision remains pending as the campaign heats up.
