UK makes it illegal to support Iran's elite military force

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has declared Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps — an elite military unit — a danger to UK security. It is now a crime to help or support them, punishable by up to 14 years in prison. The US and EU made the same decision long ago. Britain has now caught up, following pressure from Parliament.
