Google Fixes Bug That Hid Edited Google Photos Pictures From Other Apps

Engadget and 9to5Google reported the fix on 29 October 2026, delivered through a Google Photos update. Before then, the workaround was saving edited pictures as separate copies, not overwriting originals.
