Marvell is reportedly close to buying Lumentum, a maker of light-based data parts, Bloomberg reported October 28, 2026. No deal is signed yet. Market value, or a company's total share price, is about $83 billion for Lumentum and $221 billion for Marvell. Lumentum's parts are reportedly sold out until early 2029, driven by AI data centers.
